Rush Spring 2019

About Theta Tau

Theta Tau is the oldest, largest, and foremost Fraternity for Engineers. Since its founding at the University of Minnesota in 1904, over 40,000 have been initiated over the years. With emphasis on quality and a strong fraternal bond, the Fraternity has chapters only at ABET accredited schools and limits the number of student members in any one of its chapters across the nation.

Chi Chapter

Chi Chapter was founded on April 23, 1930 at the University of Arizona, by Captain Harold Adelbert Jimmerson and Erasmus Swann Borgquist. Since 1930 Chi Chapter has been active on the campus, participating in many events including the Homecoming float parade, Engineer's Week, Hack Arizona, Rube Goldberg Machine contest, and Spring Fling to name a few.

Regent

Eyal Danielli

Regent

Fall 2023 P.C.

Senior, Computer Science

"Hello, I'm Eyal, Regent of Chi Chapter. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, travel, and marksmanship. As part of the Fall '23 PC, I'm currently in my fifth semester as an active member of the house. In the time I've spent here, I've learned a lot about what brotherhood means, such as the kinds of connections that this house fosters and the unspoken bond between brothers that we all share. One of the best experiences I had with Theta Tau was at the 2025 National Convention, where I got to experience firsthand what brotherhood means on a national level."

Vice Regent

Brody Allyn

Vice Regent

Fall 2024 P.C.

Sophomore, Aerospace Engineering

"Howdy! My name is Brody and I'm the Vice Regent here at Theta Tau Chi Chapter! I love being active, playing video games, or flying airplanes! I also hold a commercials pilots license. This is currently my 3rd semester as an active member and I can say I love Theta Tau and my brothers here from the very bottom of my heart. My favorite aspect is the brotherhood whether that be just hanging out at the house or going on trip trips or getting food or something else. I love to be around everyone else that is a part of the house!"

Scribe

Grant Berger

Scribe

Spring 2025 P.C.

Sophomore, Chemical Engineering

"Hello! I am Grant, current scribe of Chi chapter. I am looking forward to stepping up and helping the house become the best version of itself. When not fulfilling my scribe-ly duties I am often outside, usually hiking or camping. I also really enjoy cooking and reading."

Treasurer

Elizabeth Vernon

Treasurer

Fall 2024 P.C.

Sophomore, Civil Engineering

"Hi, I'm Elizabeth! I'm the current Treasurer for Chi Chapter. I rushed Fall '24 and in that time, I've been able to experience so many wonderful brotherhood moments. Through big events, like our Founder's day BBQ or Penchi, and through more spontaneous late night adventures or random moments of connection, I've learned to view my brothers as family. In my free time, I love boardgames, racket sports, hiking, and reading fantasy books. I am so grateful for the opportunity to contribute to our house, and I can't wait to see where our future leads!"

Corresponding Secretary

Sean Maloney

Corresponding Secretary

Spring 2022 P.C.

Sophomore, Software Engineering

"Hi! I'm Sean and I'm the current Corresponding Secretary for Chi Chapter. I've been an active member of Theta Tau since 2022. In my time as an active member at Theta Tau, I have been fortunate to be able to meet and get to know many amazing people. Some of my favorite memories have been at the house Barbeques, golfing, and going to the football and basketball games. I am very excited to give back to Chi Chapter and continue to help make Chi Chapter a great place for both current and new members."
